Big Game Hunting

Colorado offers several options for obtaining a big game hunting license. Over-the-Counter licenses (available in mid-July), leftover limited licenses (available in early August​), and limited licenses (through an application & draw process in early April). Small Game

Hunting small game in Colorado requires an over the counter license along with a HIP number. To read more information about the HIP program, check out the States website.
